The new daily deal script is an ecommerce based script with the ability to specifiy a starting and ending date for the products to show.
A count down will appear in the front end, which will count down to the specified expiry date.
Timezones can be specified in the config file, and a nice progress bar shows the availability of the product in %.
From the admin area you can enable/disable the option of forcing customers to agree on the conditions of use, and you can also specify the title tags as well as the keywords for each product in each different language, which of course makes the site SE friendly.
